Hi all,

Has anyone had experience with Kenmore Auto in Brighton, MA? We are preparing, in the Spring, to try to turn our 94 850 and 91 Explorer into a 240 sedan a 240 wagon. Kenmore Auto seems to have a lot of cars and being a dealer would take trades. So, any thoughts good or bad?

This place is next to Walgreen's, right? This is in Brookline, a few blocks from my house. I have been in there a few times to see what they have. They usually have a nice selection of Volvos, quite a few 240s from the last years of production. Most of them looked like they were really nice, most had ok miles, but they all had dealer prices, that is to say, high book prices.

But it is good because it would come with a warranty, and they will take your trade, like you say. They are pretty friendly there, I think.

You don't like the 850?

Did you know there is a Volvo meeting coming up on Oct 14? There is info at www.mot.org, it's the Swedish Car Day. You may find some nice 240's for sale there, as well, if you don't mind a private sale.
