Don't tell me i have the wrong engine mounts! 700 1988

Hey,

I am going to replace my engine mounts, i have an NA 740 manual (m47). I was looking at a picture of some "hydraulic engine mounts" and they look nothing like mine at all. It may have been my imagination...i have an 88, and was told these are hydraulic.......mine look alot like a small water tank with (slightly) bulging sides, they feel very rubbery, and are in need of replacement, (metal braket starting to sink into rubber!), but i've never seen a pic of either of the 2 different mounts. Only engine mounts i have found (in australia) are automatic mounts.......are they different?

Thanks All,

Az

On US delivery 700 series, 86 was the last year for the solid rubber mounts on manual transmission cars. The 87s have the hydraulic mounts. The hydraulic mounts are about 10 cm in diameter, while the solid mounts are about 5 cm in diameter.
