Rear Brake Lights Only Work When Brake Pedal is Fully Down 200 1990

I noticed that my rear brake lights only work when I have the brake pedal fully pressed down. I have new rotors in the car, and braking works perfectly. Is there any way to have the brak lights come on once I touch the brakes....I don't want to be rear-ended.

Check the adjustment on the stop light switch at the pedal.if it is correct your switch is probably bad. B.G.

Adjust the adjustable brake pedal switch that controls the brake lights. Up high on the brake pedal and a real pain to get at.
