Still trying to get some info. on engine swap 900 1992

I run a '92 940 automatic wagon with 2L non turbo engine which has 200K miles, and is burning oil, poor performance etc. I also have a '89 740 5 speed manual complete,(crashed at passengers' side) with 2.3L turbo engine, low milage. My question is, can I transplant the 2.3 into my car, and what else(if anything)will I need to change over?(i.e. electronic control unit, etc.)

Where are you, thereare market variations. European spec turbos are Motronic. Your non torbo car won't be. It will physically fit the car, but you will need to swap over lll the wiring, both brains, the fuel pumps use different pressures from memory. It is a lot of work, but certainly not imposible with a complete car.
