240 and Volvo plates 200 1980

The "Volvo," "240", and "DL" plastic signs that came with the car are falling off. What do I use to reattach them to the metal rear trunk?

3M clear trim adhesive is the best stuff Iv used to date , sets up quick, but allows a little playing around with the pc being attached if you want to adjust the positioning. It also holds up to the sun and heat--wont melt and let trim pc slide off your car--good luck and keep in mind to prep the mating surface good with a grease/wax cutting type solvent

Butylene (window) kit, which will stick quite well to just about anything hard and smooth, or there's double sided tape especially for this purpose. Don't use hotglue, it's too inflexible and will soon fail.

I'd try a hot glue gun. You can pick one up pretty cheap @ a craft store

Skip the hot melt glue - when it gets cold (near freezing) the parts will fall off again.
