does anyone know the weight of the b23 engine!!

depends on what you mean by "engine". If you're just talking about a long block, I'd venture 80kg tops. Add additional weight for intake, exhaust, accessories, etc. as appropriate.

I'ld think it's a bit heavier than that. A B20 is about 150 kg (two reasonably strong men can just lift it, and I know a B30 is slightly over 200 kg, so guestimating back from that) for a longblock without the flywheel or ancilaries. A B23 is a slightly larger casting but has a lighter head, so I'ld expect it to be somewhere in the 125-140 kg range.

thank you guys,that's what I wanted to hear.
I'd like to replace the engine in my vw transporter,and some swedisch guy offers
a kit to install a volvo engine.I was just worried about the weight,but actualy
it's just slitly heavier.
