That depends where you live. Different markets have different engines. As for Sweden, my 240 DL -85 has a B200K engine but the GL had a B230A.

No difference at all (at least for my 1989). The GL was just a nicer interior (electric windows, manual sunroof for sedan models, front seatback storage, alloy wheels, a nice vinyl for the seats) and you were forced to have an automatic (yuck!).

None in the US, that is. Remember we're not all in the US.

In Canada, for example, DL's came with the B21A (single carb) engine well into the '80's, whereas GL's had the B21E or B23E or B21F or B23F fuel injection motors.
