I need to replace the rear tailgate harnesses. Can anybody tell me where I can find them brand new for an affordable price?

Also I awhile back, I saw someone with a 245 with the rear tailgate harnesses rigged inside the rear cargo area along the headliner. They used a coiled cord similar to a telephone cord. Can anybody give me the play by play of how they rigged it up?

I got the harnesses for 11 bucks per side from FCP Groton. I then gave them to a friend who needed them more than I did (mine were still OK at the time) - and of course mine crapped out completely the following week. So I ended up using the Evan R technique... works great! Don't think I'll ever do it the "right" way.

R+R for the tailgate harness isn't that tough, and doesn't need to cost anything. I spliced new extension wires on inside the gate, pulled the harness back through the hinges until I had good stuff there, spliced inside the car, and presto!
