*** couple of performance questions 200 1981

I have CIS on both my cars('75 242 & '81 240) and I am going to go through with head and intake porting, polishing and matching on the '75 242. where can I find bigger injectors for my CIS system? should I also run bigger I.D. hoses for more fuel? and finally what are some great cheap and easy hp tricks for volvos?

My cousin was a mechanic for Volvo for 15 years. They would play with the wrecks in the back yard for fun. One of the tricks they had great fun with was to take a set if injectors off a diesel Volvo and put them on a regular gas Volvo -no other mods. He said the thing screamed. I'm sure it burned a lot more fuel.

What mods have you already done to get up to 160-170HP?

You won't need bigger injectors and you won't need more fuel. The system will support almost anything you can throw at it. If you really do start funning lean, then you can shim the fuel distributor to provide higher pressure which will provide more fuel.

Some other mods _header from stahl

electric fan conversion
remove the AC if you want
go to manual steering if you want
Get a cam from Unitek
you can lighten the flywheel also.

"header from stahl"

Unitek is cheaper.

I'd be into knowing what mods you've done too. Those are some pretty good numbers. If you ever need more fuel (at 170 you're still fine) you can swap to the B21FT K-jey. I have heard it's beefier.
