I think the subject says it all, I'm looking at a 87 turbo and wanna know if it would come with the AW 71 or the AW 70L

Another place/way to get information on which model had which engine, options, whatever etc., is to go to 'volvoworld.com' and wade thru their various sites. It will also show you to decode your VIN, etc.---PD.

The AW 71 was installed on the turbo 700 series. The AW 70 was used on NA cars.
