resistance of AMM hot wire?

Anyone one know this off hand? Or what it's made off?

resistance of AMM hot wire?

OK, I'll bite. 1.6 ohms plus or minus a coupla tenths. LH2.0 with hot wire.
But that is measured on my workbench in a 75 degree indoor environment. You should know that even with an "official" air box t-stat wired correctly temps may climb to 85 or 90 for hot engine startup. On the Eastern shore;-)

"Or what it's made off?"

.003" thick platinum wire.

Hi Haroon, isn't that car of yours an LH2.4 with metal film AMM? I also have an '89 and a '90, but haven't had cause to look into the fuel injection on these cars.

Thanks for the info. Oh, this car is an 87 740, family car that has it in for me. Seems like everything I do, I muck it up more. It's been sitting for a week, bought an AMM from Ebay, no show. Broke the old AMM off it's holding while attempting to open it. Opened the distributor, and now I need to 'glue' back the hall sensor. Can't find the fabric washers that go in it, not even the dealer has them.

Amm ran on cold air. I am sure it's fried. I get more than 20Mohms of resistance at the wire itself. Unless it is coated with something.
