Zimmer Cross Drilled or ATE Power Disks 700 1985

All other things being equal, what would you put on your car? Are the shim kits sold at fcpgroton effective (for squeeling).

I have and like the Ate's. Drilled rotors with less surface area are not really for street. Most people have them for looks.

I don't use shims, just good goop. No squealing. To me the shims are a band-aid and just more surface area for brake dust to go and cause even more noise.

Goop? for me is 50/50 mix of Sil-Glyde brakegoo and Copaslip. Don't need a ton, and of course DON'T get it on the friction surfaces - duh. I use it on the guide pins as well.

Haven't used either, but I'd imagine the cross drilled would eat through brake pads faster.

Something to consider.
