Wagon antenna mast removal 700

I thought I was all set, got a new antenna mast as the old one wasn't responding to the motor. Took off the nut on the outside which holds the antenna on, but I cannot pull outthe antenna, yet it is obvioulsy not connecte to the motor.
On thenew mast there seems to be collar which fits around the bottom inside the tube, this would preventthemast from coming out..........how do you do this?

Wagon antenna mast removal 700

I replaced my mast over a year ago. Here is the link to what I had to say about the job to another brickster back then. It made sence to me at the time. You'll be able to figure it out as you go along.I took the antenna motor apart and cleaned it up also.

Good luck.

You must remove the interior in the trunk where the motor to the mast is.
Then, you can take it out from the inside of the trunk...
It's little tricky but not too tricky.
