940 B230 no start problem 900 1993

I was hoping someone could help me with an erratic problem i'm having. My '93 940 with B230 won't start when the engine is warm. It starts fine when cold. It starts fine when hot. But, for example, after idling ten or twenty minutes, then it won't start. I checked, and the fuel pump is running. I haven't a clue about what's going on. Please help. :)

thanks,
Ben Costello

Is it getting spark? If no spark or no slight tach needle impulses when cranking, then suspect the RPM sensor (AKA "Crankshaft Position Sensor"). It's typical for them to begin failing on a warm engine, rather than cold.

If it's getting spark and you can hear the pump running, yet still no start, suspect the Radio Suppression Relay.
