trans dip stick 900 1991

I lost the transmission dip stick on my 91 940 turbo automatic (not SE) will a dip stick from a 740 or 240 work? I am trying to buy from a salvage yard locally.

You will have to match the transmission. Volvo changed the pan size around 1992 and I suspect the dipstick changed too.
