'86 740GLE Transmission Parts Needed 700

I've recently acquired an '86 740GLE with an exploded (literally) transmission. Clutch and bellhousing are intact, but theres nothing but a broken/twisted input shaft where the gearbox should be, the tail end of the transmission was in the trunk, but I'm pretty sure there's nothing useful there. I can get another tranny (manual) for $200, but it's going to be missing some stuff. Mainly I'll need the shifter assy, the rubber donut that connects it to the driveshaft, and any other misc. parts that were left scattered on the highway when the gearbox fragged. Can anybody help me?

I'd be looking for a self service junkyard to get the shifter assembly and other parts that lie outside the transmission. Tranny internals might be a little harder (more expensive)to come by. I had to buy one of those rubber flanges a while back and it was cheapest from IPD. Not sure if that's still the case.

I have to ask...what on earth happened to the original tranny?
