injector seal replacement 200

i just recieved my new seals for my lh 2.0 injectors today. everything seems to be going fine, except, i cant get the fuel rail off. i've taken the three support screws out (and the railing is now completely loose), but i still cannot get the rail off of the injectors, or the injectors out of the manifold. am i missing something, or do i just have to use brute force to get them out?

thanx
kiel

had the same problem the first time i took my rail off...try twisting the injectors, this may break free some crudded up seals. Or try to very gently prey the injectors out of the manifold with a soft object, chunk of wood ???
As i recall, I cursed quite a bit before the rail broke free. good luck.

thanx, that did the trick. one more question, how do you get the little yellow end caps off. the instructions that came with the seals were translated pretty badly. thanx

my guess is german. its in 6 languages, and theyre not really instructions, its more like procautions, but they dont really make a lot of sense. but anyway, i got the endcaps off. thanx brickboard.
