760Turbo Stalling - Solved 700

A while ago, I posted a few questions about what the problem might be with my car, which was stalling.
Well, after trying out all the common things that cause this (FPR, Fuel pumps, etc.), we eventually found it to be an immobilizer which the previous owner had fitted!!!(Which we didn't know of until now) He had connected it to the "power door locks" fuse and relay, and after driving for 10mins or so, the fuse/relay were really heating up! We can only guess that they heated up so much that caused them to fail, and the immobilizer went off. so we've disconnected it, and all's running well now...
Another problem I was having, was a slight missing / stuttering @ ~70kmh. That turned out to be the AMM, and we had to buy annother one. ~AUS$300 not good, but the cars running great now!

Anyway, thanks for all your help guys.

760Turbo Stalling - Solved 700

Good to see you finally figured it!! For the AMM did you try Euro Car Parts (revesby in sydney) or ASV spares (second hand, also sydney)? I think they'd have had it a fair bit cheaper....
p.o's are PITA aren't they sometimes? I had a mitsubishi sigma, and my kill switch just cut power to the "fuel cut" switch, with a carby engine, that only cuts *so* well, i mean, the car will HARDLY idle, but it'll drive okay with just the occasional miss..... i drove in peak hour traffic, for about 1 hour, revving the car constantly trying to work out what the HELL was wrong with it, and when i got home, i flicked the switch (kill switch) and i went "hang on, thats not right, it's already on!!" DAMN DAMN DAMN! I swore, kicked it, and was happy again! hehehe. I always checked the switch after that.....hehe, Seee ya
