Hello-
I just wanted to make sure that my NEW car is OK. I just bought a 93 945t and whenever I start the car up, the oil pressure light stays on for 1-1.5 seconds. It uses no oil, and I just converted to Mobil 1 10w30 sythetic. Is this acceptable or am I slowly grinding my engine? Sorry for being so neurotic. Thanks

That's OK with synthetic. Make sure you use Mann filters with high-quality anti-drain back valves to minimize the time it takes oil to reach lubricated points.
Using a Fram filter will keep that light on longer.
