Hey Rick are you still active at Brickboard?

Rick, you answered a question I posted about how to remove or gain access to a glovebox that would not open. But you did not give any return email address; hence this post. I did not want to have to resort to drilling out the lock unless needed. You said there were two bolts underneath that held it in place and when removed should release the box. I located those two bolts and removed them but something else is still keeping me from getting the box out. Any more suggestons? Others with any knowledge are welcome too. Btw, I anticipate answers from 87, 740 owners - not sure if the boxes are the same - need answers from 91 owners.

Thanks,
Bruce

There is actually 2 screws behind the glovebox door that will be holding it in still...... i ma pretty sure thats whats stopping you.... In america wrecker parts are cheap, so the easiest thing to do would be to stick a square shaft screwdriver into the lock, and use a spanner and break it off and just pay 30 for a new glovebox..... Maybe this will help!
