the cruse controil unit that is electrical computer on the early 80's volvos.
there are two hoses going to the unit, one goes to the top of the engine and where does the other hose go. I know there is a T fitting but where and on what hose is it on?

One hose to the intake manifold, providing the required vacuum, and one to the bypass switch (or switches on a manual trans car) at the brake pedal inside the car. The reason for the T connection probably is that the heater switches uses the same vacuum source.

I went and looked on my 82 245 GL and one hose goes to the inside of the car and the other goes to a T connection. One part of the T goes to the intake manifold and the other side has what I think is a check valve and then a small hose that goes inside under the dash somewhere.
