Oil Pressure Guage won't move... 200

I have a 1990 240 with an aux bar guage next to the radio. It used to move between 2.5 to 5 bar. Now, no matter what the engine does it barely moves off of four. What is the deal?

Disconnect the sender wire (behind the alternator) and touch it to ground. That should bury it far right. >5 bar. You also have the idiot light wire on the sender. I think the gauge wire is green, or is it black? Well try both.
If it still stays at 4 it is a faulty gauge. If it moves far right, that might mean the sender is bad. Buy a VDO replacement sender.
