How to Reset Check Engine Light 900 1995

Changed my air filter yesterday and unhooked the air-flow sensor connection to make it easier to get the top of air filter box off...started the car without reconeccting the sensor so now I have "check engine" light on. Reconnected sensor so car now runs fine.

Anyway to reset "check engine" light w/o a trip to dealer?

this is easier than putting gas in the car. on the instrument panel, there is a black rubber instert to the left of the odometer reset button. carefully remove this so as to not rip it and insert a small phillips head screw driver. push the driver lightly into the button you have now exposed and you will have succesfully reset your check light.

He needs to get the "Check Engine" light off. NOT the service indicator. Huge difference!

You are lucky. 1995 is the last year you can do that yourself.

Get to the FAQ section. It is all there and I don't have 10 minutes to type the whole procedure for the umpteenth time. Post again if anything is unclear.
