that little hose 700 1987

I have a turbo motor and was wondering... what exactly does the hose that goes over the engine from the intake manifold do? I need an answer ASAP

Depending on which/what you mean by little, there is a little hose that goes to the compressor bypass valve which vents the turbo pressure when the throttle is snapped shut....

That is how the built up crankcase pressure is vented back into the intake. The small nipple on that flame trap fitting there provides vaccum to the system, helping it scavenge the pressure out of the crankcase and back into the intake.
