springs 120-130

So I was reading about the shock changing tips on 122's and thought about doing mine. When I do this I would like to change the front springs as the front curb height is pretty low, especially on the L front.

Where can one find springs for a 122?

Thanks,

Phred

just a tought . Check you A arm bushings. the left sitting lower than the right sounds like something is out of wack. with normal spring wear the left should not be lower than the right. I hve found that with volvos the rubber is always quite soft, annd fall apart quite quickly ( nice ride though).

Lots of places really.

Stock coils are available in many locations (including the dealer, in all likelyhood). SwedishClassics, www.gcp.se, etc.

'Sport' springs are available from some locations for the 122 - these will usually ride stiffer nd sit lower than stock. www.ipdusa, www.kgtrimning.com et al

John Parker makes progressive wound coils for 122/1800's - these may be the best compromise between handling and comfort. Softer initial spring rate that rises into a very stiff rate as it is compressed. www.v-performance.com
