I was looking at a set of older Aluminun Turbo 5 spoke wheels from a 200 series sedan. Will these wheels fit on alright, as far as offset, width, etc...

Are there specific years or models that I'm looking for, or is it just any RWC Ford, Chrysler, or AMC. Also is that tonly american cars that will fit, what about Chevy or somethimg? Your info is greatly appreciated

Not Chevy - they are 4.76 by 5. I think Jeeps to this day are still using 4.5 X 5 - I've seen some neat looking 5 spoke gray mag wheels on some newer Jeeps that would probably look nice on an old round car.

Wheels from a 200 series are NEWER, not OLDER.
Older wheels will fit, newer ones will not.
With the advent of the 140/164 and comparable models of the P1800
the bolt circle went from a standard 4 1/2" to a nonstandard 4 1/4".
There are plenty of wheels that will indeed fit on a 122 but newer Volvo
wheels won't. Try Ford or Chrysler.

80's Toyota truck 2WD wheels fit as well. I have a set of 14x7 US Mags, haven't mounted them yet, they're awfully wide. The bolt pattern is the same though.

That also happens to answer "what is that single wheel I have in the barn which looks like an early 140 wheel but has a slightly too-wide bolt pattern?". Thanks.

On my erstwhile '63 122 sedan I once swapped in a 142E rear axle (along with the rest of the drivetrain). I never got around to swapping the front discs for some 1800E/ES units so the bolt patterns would match, but to make it look decent I found some early 140 rims with the oval holes that visually matched my silver slotted 122 wheels on the front.

You can use it on your 444......

I think you're confusing fleets now, I don't have anything older than 145 VIN 817 (1453461000817, although it's single carb by now). There's always the annual dutch Volvo meet...

A 444 in .nl could mean 2 things: The classic 444 we all know and love, or a 4-door 440 series (which never went to the US due to the expense to get it emissions and DOT certified, although it alledgedly was designed with the US market in mind. Mid 80's to mid 90's, smaller than a 240, and Volvos first forray into FWD vehicles. Renault engines).

Actually I was, as we say in Oklahoma, pullin' yer leg.
I got rid of my only 444 in 1970 and I doubt that either
they were making the Dutch series, or that 122 wheels would
fit them at that time. I did have 2 544s before I got the
444, one totaled in an accident and blew the engine in the
other by using unauthorized pistons. (But they only cost $4.70
each!)

The stud spacing is different, so they won't fit.
