The oil pipe on my turbo charger blew today. What a mess! I won't have to worry about undercoating the front end for awhile. Anyway the oil cooler pipes are even more rusty, so I think I should replace them. Does anyone no of a non dealer source for these with reasonable prices?

Thanks for the offer. What do you want for them? The only problem is that I live about as far away from you as I can while still being in North America. I am in Nova Scotia Canada. I wouldn't think is would cost that much to ship them UPS

Your local hose guys Parker-Hannifin, etc in the phone book should set you up.

Wow. The new ones seem to be well plated. I'll bet that DID spew forth!

Any luck on the hoses? How much are they from the dealer? The hydraulic hose guys can fab up just about anything. Bring your old hoses in if need, be tell them that they carry turbo hot motor and they should be able to fix you up for less than Volvo prices.

Yeah it was a big mess. I hope the turbo cartridge is ok. I don't think the line was leaking bad enough that it did not get any oil pressure. I guess I will find out soon enough. I don't want to have a repeat with the oil cooler lines. Ia am a big fan of junk yards, but I live in a rust belt, so I know I won't find any good used ones here. Thanks for the advice, I will see if I can find someone to make some lines for a good price. The turbo oil pipe is about 80 bucks from the dealer, so I imagine the oil cooler pipes would really set me back. They were closed before I could get a price.
