rear swaybar installation 700 1989

Is it necessary to raise the car on jackstands to install a rear swaybar in a 745GL that did not originally have one?

It's necessary to support the rear axle since the shocks limit the travel.

I just drove the back of the car onto ramps and did it... of course my shocks are shot to heck and didn't knock me out when I un-bolted them...

See, it wasn't that hard, was it?

I've found most of this stuff is pretty easy, it's getting over the fear and uncertainty.

Good job!!!
