heater leaking 700 1985

When the heater runs water leaks from somewhere close to the water pump. Is there a heater hose or crossover hose that could be replaced or is it the heater?

The water pump, at the front of the engine, leaks when the heater inside the car is on? Very strange. Maybe some more detail would help.

Every water pump of mine that's leaked did so regardless of whether I was using the heater, in Volvo and other makes.
