insturment panel 700 1989

hi i have a problem with my gauges that is they dont work. all of the ones in the insturment panel just went dead except the turbo but thats cause it is run off of vacum i loked in the 700 FAQ menu and found where it says it could be a ground on the computer i looked for the ground dont know where it is though and also took out the panel and tightend everything on the back there was one thing that looked like a wire should have gone ther but searched for a loose wire and dident see anything also this happend when i was driveing down the highway and went to flip on my lights the lights went on but all the gauges went dead even my odometer dosent work so it is hard to guess for gas is there a fuse somewhere that i could be missing or what thank you alot

did you jiggle the keys to test whether this is a symptom of a faulty ignition switch? Turn the car on and turn the key to the left slightly in position 2. Play with it and see if it fixes the problem. If so you just need a new ignition switch... notes in the FAQ section.

yhea i just tried to move it to the left in position 2 witht the car runing and as soon as i move it a little left the car turns off and i dont even see any of the gagues move so im not sure and also might i add that my cruise control dosent work but it worked fine before the gauges went out
