Breaking in new Metal Master Pads 900

I just wanted to get some tips on breaking in my new PBR Metal Master brake pads. There was not any literature with the pads themselves. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Generaly it's just a case of driving to about 60kph and the braking gently but firmly down to about 15kph, then let off and drive for like 30secs to a min and then repeat, do it anywhere from 8 to 15 times, and then go easy for about 250km after that.

And yeah, as the other guy said, be wary of braking first thing in the morning when the pads are cold, metal rocks when hot, but can scare the **** out of you when cold!

I put the metal masters on the front of my 90-240.

Initially do about eight stops from about 30 mph, using light to moderate pressure, allowing about 30 seconds between episodes. Then avoid hard braking for about 500 miles. Allow plenty of following distance, and gradual braking. Then, go for it. They do stop the car!

Mine or all broken in now. They work very well, and without even a whisper of a squeak, or squeal.

Another thing about the metal masters: they dont give opitimum performance until there heated. kind of scary until you get used to them.
