Lamp failure relay location. 200 1990

Where is the lamp failure relay location on my '90 245? I have an extra volvo.'88 240 and was hoping the lamp failure relay from this car will fit mywagon.Trying to figure out why my brake lights are not working.Parking lights work fine. Thanks again for the replies.

In the earlier cars it was sorta above the driver's left knee. It's round, about 1.5" diameter by 2" long. I've seen red ones, green ones, orange ones, black ones.

I once lost brake lights in my '83 GL because of a bad connection inside the sensor. I repaired it and it lasted for the duration, and when the car expired someone put the repaired sensor to good use.

I believe it's behind the instrument panel. It's bright red and about the diameter of a juice can, and has a huge connector going into it. Remove the panle underneath the steering wheel, and you might be able to see it/access it from below.

Use a continuity meter on the terminals of the Lamp Failure Relay. 54 connects to 54L and 54R. 57L connects to 58L, 57R connects to 58R. 56b connects to 56bL and 56bR.
