940 Turbo Question? What is a Rex Regina coil, and how do you know if you have one?? 900 1994

Hi all,
Was looking at tune up stuff for the 940 wagon and it mentions a Rex Regina system for 94/95 models. My coil has Bocsh label on it. So do I then have the EZK116 system?? Just wondering for future tune up stuff ordering...
Thanks////

Don't ask. You don't have it on a turbo. 900 1994

Norht American Market 940 turbos use LH 2.4 Jetronic fuel injection, not Rex/Regina.

940 Turbo Question? What is a Rex Regina coil, and how do you know if you have one?? 900 1993

Hey, here's one that I can answer! The Rex Regina system has a cap/rotor that sits on the front right-hand side of the engine next to and behind the timing belt....all of the spark plug wires and the coil wire connect to the TOP of the cap (vertically) If your distributor cap looks like a turtle shell (laying flat with the cables connecting horizontally) it's NOT the Rex Regina system. Both systems have a Bosch coil. (by the way, a lot of parts stores don't list the Rex Regina distributor cap for the 940, you have to have them look up a 240 with the b230f engine) Hope that helps.
