driveline support bushing replacement

When replacing the driveline support bushing is it necessary to replace the bearing as well? I don't own a press and need to avoid mechanics at all cost but need to replace my u-joints and driveline support bushing on my 1990 765Ti.

Let me add to other post that a vise will suffice for your ujoint(s) replacement.Having a brass punch comes in handy also. mark

MY work car is a 1980 240 w/300k and I just replaced center rubber. I pulled back half of driveshaft and only one ujoint was bad. I liberally soaked the center bearing-which was dry-BUT TURNED FREELY>READ:NO SCRAPING- with LIQUID WRENCH . Repacked with good wheel bearing grease-no problem. Good parts from FCPGROTON.COM others will post with other suppliers.GMB (JAPANESE) makes excellent ujoints for volvo as well as waterpumps. ujoints should have smooth easy movement or replace.mark
