Turbo oil feed line replacement 700 1989

Just picked up a new turbo, and need some input on replacing the oil feed line.

Car is a 1989 745ti with TD05 turbo. I can't get a wrench into the narrow gap between the feed line to block union. I've scoured my Haynes, and (shudder) Chilton's manuals (hey, I got the chilton's for free) and neither said anything about removing the oil feed line.

What do I need to remove in order to get this thing replaced? There's the thing that the oil filter sits on, but I don't want to take that off... looks complicated.

Any input?

Thanks

Ryan

Actually, the thing the oil filter sits on is only held on by one bolt, which is the same thing the oil filter spins on to. Easy to remove, as it's bathed in oil, and it would do you good to replace the big o-ring behind it while you're there...

I was just looking at it, there's one huge bolt towards the front of the block, yes it's bathed in oil... it just looks like it's connected to something more important inside the block.

Have you ever done this? If so, I'd like to talk off board to get some more specifics.

Thanks!!

Ryan
