Anyone want my old springs? 200

I just replaced the rear springs on my '86 245 with IPD overload springs. I don't know why anyone would want the old ones, but they're still good and I'm going to toss them otherwise.

My 245 is entirely stock (including shocks), so anything would have improved the ride. I was surprised at how much the IPD springs helped. I can't explain it, but a few rear end clunks disappeared after I put them on, and handling on the highway isn't as vague as it used to be. The IPD sway bars are next.

I was planning on doing the bushings soon, but the rear suspension tightened up so well after the springs alone that I'm going to put it off (they didn't look bad when I had the car up either).

Just let me know where to send them, and I'll let you know what the shipping was. I'm just happy to keep them out of the garbage.

I'm assuming you're in the States....If you're in Canada, tell me and you could send them to Waterloo where I'm at school. However, its a lot cheaper to keep it in the same country. thanks again!

no problem, but just so you know, I am at school right now and won't be home until somewhere between the 25th and the 27th. I am at school in Canada, so that's why I'm having you ship the springs to my house. Thus, I won't be able to send you the shipping money back until the end of the month. I hope that's ok. Thanks again!

Anyone want my old springs? They'll fit any other 240 so 200

don't chuck them out yet. I got a 245 set for my sagging 244, and it helped. Others can do the same. Put them over in the classified, make a little beer money, help a sagging brick.

Regards,

Bob
