Measuring Disc Brake Rotor Runout 700

I'm about to replace front suspension bushings on a 1990 760, and as part of the exercise, I'd like to check runout on the discs. I've seen "flexible" mounts, magnetic mounts, "vise-grip" mounts etc., and a number of kits from KD Tools, Snap-On, Central Tools, etc. Can anyone recommend a particular type or brand of tool to perform this maneuver? I have an older Federal .0001" indicator head, without any mounts, that I could press into service, but I wouldn't mind getting a "made-for-this-purpose" kit if it's easier to work with. Thanks!!

I bought a magnetic mount. (I think it's the Central Tool brand.) I'm not real crazy about it. Wish I a had a more substantial clamp-on mount.

Chris, did your mount have a flexible arm or a series of straight rods? All of the clamp-on set-ups I've seen (not in person - just on various internet sites) have the flexible arm, and I'm wondering if the "flexible" part gets to be problem, as opposed to a rigid mount. I guess there's no substitute for hands-on experience. Did the Central Tool set-up get the job done? Thanks!!
