Hello.
I'm wondering if I can trade an O2 sensor from my friends 89 740 non turbo into my 86 740 turbo. My gas mileage is pretty crappy and I'm curious to see if this helps.


The rest of the car is tuned nicely, new regulator etc. so I'm down to the skinny's on why the gas mil. sucks.

Any response appreciated!!!!!

An O2 sensor is an O2 sensor....they all work exactly the same....the only thing you will have to look for is the number of wires. If they both have 3 wires, then you can trade them. If one has three and the other has four, do not pass go. They cannot be swapped. as long as the number of wires is the same, you can take one out of a chevy and put it in your volvo. It doesnt much matter. So, yes would be the answer to your question.
