940 Non Turbo 1995

I'm planning to purchase a few green manuals from Volvotechinfo site. Since they don't ship overseas, I will have a friend purchase them for me.

The problem here is I cannot get to view those books and not sure whether they serve my purpose. So if any of you bricksters have the following manuals please let me know what they contain.

Engine: TP30871/1 GR20-22, TP31003/1 GR25-27, TP1705202 GR17 Book 1, TP1706202 GR17 Book 2, TP32186/1B GR17 Book 2 and TP31439/2

Transmission: TP31635/1 GR43 and TP31642/1 GR43

Of course I don't intend to buy all of them but to choose those that serve my needs better.

I need a manual that tell me what is wrong with the engine given a set of problems or symptoms. As for the transmission I probably need one that allow me to perform a complete overhaul.

Also, I doubt your tranny needs a complete overhaul manual. The 31642/1 Automatic Transmission AW manual has most of what you need, including seals, valve body, etc. and good diagrams.

All those for the engine have the same title - Fault tracing, repairs and maintenance. That is why I need to know what their contents are.

Sorry: what are the titles that go with the codes?

The manuals that have been most useful to me have been:
Wiring diagram
Fuel injection /ignition
Climate Control system
Body fittings exterior
Brakes incl ABS
Lighting, Instrumentation, Electricals

Maintenance Service is also good but if you have a Haynes or Chiltons you won't need it. Also, much of its information is in the FAQ.
