thermometer bulb out--changing? 900 1993

digital ambient thermometer light bulb--how to replace? the dash trim is reluctant to come off, (non wood), I have 5 screws out. more? or can the LED readout be unclipped from under the dash or must I pull the cluster? any tips appreciated. just fixed the shiftlock. this car has a lot of wires. and a weepy block.

There's 2 clips (one on each side) in the valance. Install a small screwdriver in each and pull back towards you. Valance can come out hard sometimes. Remove cluster and wiring and under t-stat you'll see a black bulb holder. I think it's a 2721mf type bulb. Unscrew it one quarter turn and replace. It's usually a 15 min. job. Good luck. John
