Hi, just a quickie to enquire as to what size electric fan would be suitable for a B21E engine in Australian conditions? THanks ,

Is it possible/necessary to leave the existing plastic fan shroud on?

Size is not quite as important as how many cubic feet per minuit of air flow( or whatever the metric equivilant is)
Get the fan with the highest CFM rating that will fit() I think I have 12" fans on both of mine , one is a medium flow and the other is pretty wimpy and needs a stouter one.climate here not as hot, but probably alot more humid

I just put a electtric fan on my 81 245, and it jumped my horse power up alot more torque, better RPM jump. www.turbobricks.org is a good place to look at they tell you how and what fan to use.

Has anyone tried swapping the factory electric fan set-up from a 940 into a 240? It looks like it would bolt right in - and be CFM correct.
