I broke the line between the condenser and expansion valve the other day while replacing my condenser. I've had no luck finding a replacement.

Any suggestions?

Don:
Take off the hose from the car, take it to a high quality A/C shop and have them replace the broken part plus the rubber hose...I did this with my 93 240 and it cost me $35 as opossed to $200 for the hose.

Thanks. That seems like a better option than just buying a part from the dealer. I have my friend looking into this for me. His neighbor/buddy runs a shop here in town.

If the line is the right size I may be able to get it done where I work. One of our techs has the tools to do 1/4" and possibly 3/8" tube. I'll probably try to remove the thing tonight. If it works, I'll surely post back how we did it and how much it cost.

I wasn't having a lot of luck getting one locally so I took your advice and called Swedish Engineering. I talked to Lou and he was very helpful and polite. The part is on the way. Hopefully it will be here in time for me to fix this thing before I go out of town.
