Help - oil Filter Adaptor Leak - have problems trying to remove it. 700

Hi All,
I have a hard time reaching the big hollow 1 1/4 " bolt.
Any sugesstions on what i need to remove to get better access to it.
I remove the splash shield -- Should i remove the air pump.
I have undone the the oil lines -- should i also remove the turbo oil return line ?
This is not as easy as it sounds !
Thanks for you responses

Talk about co-incidence! 700 1989

What's the part # for that gasket, and where can I pick one up? Mine's leaking 1 qt per 500 miles onto the undercarriage of my car, and my driveway (actually now it's on the lawn because it got so bad!)

Hi Ryan M.
I check my invoice and the part number is 925093 - but my parts guy also gave me a green o ring on the house - hence no part number - he told me that on some 87's they used both the Part No above and the green one - one of each. So i have 3 o rings at the start of job. This memorial day has been crazy between the pool filter acting up and the volvo not wanting to run too well.
Good Luck

I use a flex head ratchet on the socket. Piece of cake! There is no need to remove the turbo oil drain line. That would make too much work. Do not remove the power steering pump either. Us a little grease to hold the o-ring in place when you re-install.
