A/C Fitting Adapter 700 1989

I have an '89 760T with the ECC heater/A-C system. The A/C was converted from R12 to R134 several years ago. I want to add a can of R134 refrigerant to my A/C, but the hoses that come with the kits from the parts store will not fit on the large diameter schraeder type fitting on the car. Does anyone know where I can get an adapter to attach to the car's valve that will change it to fit the typical quick connect hoses?? Thanks...

Look around for places that sell R-134a conversaion kits. Most places that sell them have the fittings. If it has been converted, it should have been left with the quick disconnect fitting on the schrader valve, because someone had to get 134a in there in the first place. Are you sure the refrigerant in there now is 134a?

Any parts store should have them .
Wal mart sells a set ( high and low adapter ) for about $9
