Nissens Radiator Ref.# 655329 Prod.#345427 700

Holla Muchachos
I got a radiator today at the junker out of a 87 T and wonder if that is a good one or even one of these "3-row". The number is on the headline above.
It looks pretty new like out of the box.
I checked the FAQ and the archives and there are only 2 posts with vague reference numbers and how do I know if Nissens make hundreds different types?
Boy I hope that will fit in my 86 NA, because the 30$+10$core+tax+fees means there is no whine and dine today with my girlfriend and she is not amused.
I got also a thermostat "calorstat V-6544 82C" for 2$. Is that a good one?
Muchas gracias amigos

The Nissens website offers a comprehesnive database of their products. If you go there and log in (register) you can access a gigantic system by a variety of information.

According to that dbase your radiator doesn't exist. Nissens uses 5 digit ref numbers, while the one you supply is 6. The closest versionlisted is:

model: 940
fuel: Petrol [they're danish]
trans: Automatic
year: 1990/9 > 2199/0
oe: 860 1127
ref: 65532

its possible its just an older nissens actually produced in like the late 80s and there is just no existing record of it. Swap it in if it looks good, just clean it inside and out first.

btw, I wouldn't reuse the t-stat if I were you. Never know what kind of wear it has, and they can be had for almost nothing online.

Thanks.
I tried to go to Nissens website , but I think their website programmer made some mistakes, because I can't log in. Error message:
"
error '80070003'
The system cannot find the path specified.
/katalog/asp/brugeropret.asp, line 103
"
I tried it a few times.

My radiator has exactly the numbers written as I wrote it.

Could be some importers got some containers of overstock years ago and still selling it, though produced in the 80's.

As I said the radiator looks like brandnew out of the box.
It's very thick. I think I can see 3 rows. But it is not so "wide".
It is not so wide as e.g. the AC-condenser or some other turbo-radiators.

Thanks
