Stock Radio Preamps? 700 1987

My friend got a new sub for his car we are wondering if the stock radio has a preamp output. Their is also an equalizer in the car under the radio. Do eighter of these have a preamp output?

I just put CD player in my 700.
I recommend that you go to www.crutchfield.com or 1 800 955 3000
They sell home & car audio products.
You can get the wiring harness there that will plug into the speaker harness.
With a good receiver you will not need the pre amp that came with the car. I think the original pre amp was only 15 watts. They also have mounting hardware to install a new stero .... just tell what kind of car.

Neither of them have the RCA phono plugs that would plug right into an amplifier. I have heard of people who cut off the DIN plug off the factory radio and wired a couple of RCA plugs in its place. Maybe someone out there can give you the wire colors you need to do this.
