After the car has stalled- turn the key to the off position. When you then turn the key to the on position can you hear the buzzing of the fuelpumps for several seconds before once again all is quiet?? If you do not hear this cycling of the fuelpumps I would suspect the fuelpump relay is defective. Replace or resolder the printed circuit board inside the relay. I believe it is located on the left side of the second row of relays in the relay tray under the ashtray. Remove ashtray and small storage compartment above it for access. Remove the cover from around the lighter to access the two screws that must be removed to remove compartment.

When the car stalls does the tachometer indicate zero immediately? If it does I would suspect the crankshaft rpm sensor. Even with the engine stalled the tachometer should show the engine rpms as the engine comes to a stop.

Check those two items and get back to us. It is a process of elimination of possiblities.

Randy
