245 turbo is hard to start when cold 200

My 245 turbo is a tough start if the engine has cooled down. When the engine is warm she cranks right up. The only way i can get her to start when cold is to hold the key to start and mash the gas pedal down till i can get the rpms over 3000 and then let go of the key and keep the rpms up for a few seconds. If i let them rpms drop to fast or to soon, she will choke off. Anyone had similar experience? Please help

Yeah, I agree with Paul. Do you have the Bentley manual? There are some excellent test procedures in there so you can test out parts of the cold start enrichment system.

FPR, Cold start injector, logic circuits or bad wire harness come to mind.

I assume you have new plugs, cap rotor, etc(do the basics first)
