Idle adjust 140 djet 140-160 1973

Does anyone know how to free up the idle adjustment screw under the intake on a D-jet. Mine is frozen, and it's not good to adjust the throttle screw and kick in another D-jet click.

I haven't had this problem (yet) but I suspect that a lot of people screw
them in too tight to try to compensate for vacuum leaks. If it has white
corrosion around it, you may be in for a hard job. Otherwise, soak it good
with your favorite penetrating oil and try a pair of Vise Grips on it.
