front muffler rubber hangers???!!!?? 200

Any tips on getting both of the rubber pieces onto my car? I got one of the rubber cicles on the front muffler... but can't stretch it over far enough to get the second one on... GOING CRAZY!!!!

same principle as spreading the springs when doing a brake job...I used a healthy sized phillips screwdriver, and it worked the first try.

Napoleon's suggestion of a lady-slipper whatever...??? I use a short crowbar -- 15" or so -- I wonder if that's the same thing. That and a long screwdriver are invaluable to lever the rubber doughnut over the retainer. Keep at it; it'll get there.
